Short-Term Running Goals: Finish the Arizona section of the Run for the Fallen (543 miles) and win my agegroup in the Summer Aquathlon Series! Long-Term Running Goals: Organize the best running events in the area and make all my students fast, healthy and strong! My personal goal is to run a 2:37 marathon. 3 miles in the morning with 200 pushups. I don't like running in the morning because I feel hungry, angry and weak.
4.3 miles home from Lauren's swim practice. It's all downhill in the most expensive neighborhood in Tucson. The weather is wonderfull, great scenery, so it was a great run. I've averaged 6:50 but it was a steep downhill the entire time.
Food: cheese sand for breakfast, 6 medium pancakes for lunch, tomato soup, 20 saltines and a grilled cheese with pepperoni for dinner and 1 Snapple. |

Only 1.63 easy miles in 12:10. Today is my rest day: run for two days, take a day off. I felt strong but it was really dark and I didn't want to get killed. Busy day again, lots of driving around in the heat. |

Easy run with Shey in the morning. It's really hard for me to get up at 5 and be able to run within 15 minutes. The getting up part is okay, but it takes me 2 miles to start feeling okay.
Busy day today, I have to get a new ID because I've lost the other one. I have a meeting on the local Air Force Base, it should be fun because I really like airplanes. |

Easy 4ish miles around the house. We live right next to one of the busiest running areas in Tucson so we are really fortunate. The weather is always nice, there is a great running path behind the house so we can;t have any excuses!

| Almost 7 miles on a hilly route. We've had a large group again so it was fun. I wish we had time to go out for burritos. I felt good, the new shoes are okay and it was a beautiful morning. |

| No running today but we've hiked from Sabino Canyon to the top od Mount Lemmon: 21 miles and 8000 feet elevation change. It was great but I swear to god I will never hike again. I was so miserable at the end that I just wanted to die. Great scenery! I want to host a two stage trail-race on this course. We'll start on Saturday, spend the night on the trail and finish on Sunday. Some parts are really hard and scary so I really have to think about it. Okay I have to take a shower because my feet are solid black and I smell bad. |

| More than 6 miles, nice and easy. I'm not sore at all after the hike but I was really hungry the entire day. Good day, I bought a set of Metolius Rock-rings and I did 40 pullups as well. I really recommend it, $30 well spent. Great weather as well. |

4.5 miles in the morning. I ran with Robert for the first time. Really nice guy. It's great to run with a smaller group because you get the chance to talk to everyone and get to know them better. I felt good, no pain at all. I woke up at 4AM to be able to eat and digest before the run and it made a huge difference. Usually I'm miserable in the morning but today was great.

| I only slept for 4 hours and I've timed the Catalina State Park race in the morning so I was really tired all day long. So again, no running at all. Attila came over at night and we ate seasoned fries. That was the best part of the day. I promise I'll do better next week. |
